Ring the Bells for The Salvation Army This Holiday Season
As Jeri Christmas, I love taking part in any and all holiday traditions, especially ringing the bells for The Salvation Army. A big part of the holidays is giving! And with The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign, you not only have the option to make a monetary donation, but also the opportunity to donate your time.
Here at the studio, we kicked off December by ringing the bells at Lawton's Hobby Lobby! We were out there from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ringing the bells and spreading holiday cheer. Our whole office took part by taking turns ringing the bells and doing the most good for The Salvation Army!
Critter and I had to bundle up in the morning because it was quite chilly! But luckily it got warmer throughout the day, so it was a beautiful day for bell ringing. It looks like Lawton's forecast for the rest of December will be somewhat cool, with most days hanging out in the 50s. So that means great weather for bell ringing for you, your family or your office!
Why Ring the Bells for The Salvation Army?
Lawton is fortunate to have a very active branch of The Salvation Army! The organization as a whole helps those in need overcome poverty, provides meals and shelter, helps disaster survivors and those with addiction, and it offers several outlets for children and youth - all right here in our community!
So if you want to give back this holiday season, donate your time to The Salvation Army! Click here to register to ring.
