Rare Places You Can See Robots in Action Around Oklahoma
The largest State Fair in Oklahoma just wrapped up last week and people are still talking about it. Not about the food or the rides (not even the stalling ride issue), but about the "guest appearance" that joined the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
Tulsa "Dog" Makes An Appearance
Deputies in Tulsa took the opportunity to try out a new patroling "dog" with them at the fair. Of course, dogs already draw a ton of attention, but this one-of-a-kind Drone Dog stood out amongst everything else.

The Drone Dog is capable of scenting out explosives and can identify a firearm and send authorities location information so they know where to respond. The idea of using the Drone Dog to investigation possible hazmat situations is to help keep deputies safe in this situations.

Although the Drone Dog had a very serious job while at the fair, it was caught having a much less serious time with fairgoers. He was caught on camera seemingly tilting its head and even shaking its "tail."
The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says they're hoping to have a Drone Dog to use full time in the future, but for now, it'll only be making appearances in large group settings.
