Long Awaited Grand Opening Announced For Lawton’s Second Chick-fil-A

At the very beginning of 2025, Chick-fil-A announced that they were opening a second location in Lawton. We knew that the process would take some time, but after nearly nine months, it's safe to say we were more than ready to see those doors open.

Local Chick-fil-A staff confirmed on social media that we don't have to wait much longer! The long-awaited grand opening for the second Chick-fil-A location will be on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Get ready for a busy Thursday on the West side of Lawton. Things are only going to pick up speed afterwards!

New Chick-fil-A location hosting a festive grand opening event on Nov. 20.

Next week, Lawton won't have to cure their Chick-fil-A cravings only at the Cache Road restaurant anymore. The next location at 1410 NW 82nd St. in Lawton, OK, will be open during their normal operating hours, the drive-through is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and dining room guests can visit between 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The festivities for the event are happening all day, with special appearances from the Chick-fil-A cow happening between 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Get there extra early to participate in the breakfast catering giveaway between 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The afternoon will be filled with face painting between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. and another special appearance from the Chick-fil-A cow shortly after at 6 p.m. All day long, guests will also be able to take advantage of the swag giveaways at random times throughout the day.
