After years of mostly refusing to engage in a war of words with Nikki Sixx, Godsmack frontman Sully Erna has apparently made a one-time exception, labeling the Motley Crue star, among other things, an "old, fat washed-up has-been" who "treats people like s---."

"I'll say it straight out: I've never met a bigger f---ing dick in my life than Nikki Sixx," he said on Jamey Jasta's The Jasta Show. "He's a douchebag. He's straight-up a f---ing douche, and I don't give a f--- what he says. He knows exactly where I am, and he knows exactly how he can find me anytime that motherf---er has the balls to come and look me up. And I'll say it straight out on your podcast. He's a dick, man."

The bad blood between Erna and Sixx dates back to when their two bands shared the stage on Motley Crue's 2009 tour. Erna felt his band was treated poorly by the headliners, and it's long been suggested that Godsmack's 2010 song "Cryin' Like a Bitch" was written as an attack on Sixx for these perceived slights.

While admitting that while he once thought Sixx was "a good f---ing dude" – and still maintains a friendship with Crue drummer Tommy Lee – he says Motley Crue's complicated, restrictive system of backstage passes and Sixx's alleged poor treatment of others made him change his mind.

"It's just that kind of stupid moves that makes him look like such a dick," Erna says of the backstage rules. "And if he could just see that, that the way he treats people and the way he conducts everything around him. There's a reason why people don't wanna associate with him, there's a reason why he has zero respect in this industry. And the only people that really give a s--- are the people that have just followed him from back in the day or whatever."

Erna also goes on to accuse Motley Crue, and Sixx specifically, of using pre-recorded tracks on their current farewell tour, claiming, "I know the motherf---er that runs the Pro Tools." Sixx, who at the very least is discrediting the "lazy" part of Erna's accusations by recording two new Sixx:A.M records in between the final dates of Motley Crue's farewell tour, has yet to respond to these new statements. But last year he tweeted that Godsmack were lobbying to get on his radio show. "Good luck touring phonebooths," he wrote. "Whos [sic} crying like a bitch now?"

11/30 Update: Sixx has replied to Erna's recent comments, albeit very briefly. During a Facebook Q&A tonight, the Motley Crue star was asked what he thought of Erna's recent attack. His two-word response? "Poor baby."
