Among all of the things you could do before fall arrives in Oklahoma, I never imagined visiting an abandoned spaceship would be on that list. But here it is and somehow some folks are only just now finding out about this.

Since July, Lively Beerworks Brewery in Oklahoma City has had one of the coolest interactive art exhibits for families and visitors of all ages up and on display.

"The Cicada" is only one of a few different pop up opportunities that is ready for other Oklahomans to enjoy. Some pop up events might be family friendly, while others are more geared to adults. Take a closer look at the events you're interested in to find out.

What is "The Cicada" abandoned ship in Oklahoma City?

To clarify, this isn't an actual abandoned spaceship. Instead, it's a captivating, creative artistic make of one with an interactive twist for visitors to experience. Walk through the exhibit and check out the robots while hunting for special items on a scavenger hunt list.

Where are some other unique pop up events in Oklahoma to visit?

Pop-events are seasonal and limited time experiences that you really have to know where to look in order to find. Many times, you'll find pop up things like "The Cicada" in hotels, bars and breweries like Lively Beerworks.

Here are a few that you can plan to visit this fall:

Horrorland: Goosebumps themed pop-up bar in OKC (ends November 2, 2025).

Coastal Clicks pop-up event in Sand Springs, OK on September 20.
