The Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs  have been the top two seeds in the Western Conference all years, and both have advanced to the Western Conference finals which gets underway tonight at 7:30 with the winner of this series  heading to the NBA Finals.

With four NBA titles already on their resume, the San Antonio had an easy road the Western Conference Finals. The Spurs are 8-0 in this postseason after sweeping both the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Clippers. In fact the  San Antonio Spurs have won 18 games straight including closing out the regular season winner their last ten games.

The Oklahoma City Thunder may have the best 4th quarter closer in the NBA with Kevin Durant. Durant has taken over in the playoffs where he has averaged 26.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game as the Thunder swept  Dallas 4-0, and then beat the LA Lakers, 4-1.

This is going to be a fast paced series and it's going to come down to the team with the deeper bench and how well they play and how well the older San Antonio Spurs can run with the much younger Oklahoma City Thunder. So Thunder Up and get ready for a fight to the NBA Finals.

The Spurs won  2 out of the 3  regular season games between the Thunder and Spurs. Game 1 is tonight in San Antonio at 7:30 p.m.
