Oklahoma Gaining A New Popular “Big City” Attraction

It looks like Oklahoma is officially on the radar for some of the most popular restaurants in the country. As part of the newest openings in Oklahoma City, there will be a newer, livelier space to hangout, eat some food and enjoy the OKC Metro.

Tommy Bahama is a famous beachy-type classy restaurant and bar usually found in major cities across the U.S.

They've got locations in San Diego, New York City, Palm Beach Gardens in Florida, Palm Springs and Palm Desert in California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

And, as of October 30, they will have a newly opened location in Nichols Hills, Oklahoma City. The night before, they will have a soft opening to get the party started early.

The bar comes as an addition to the newly added OAK Development. According the Velocity OKC, the indoor and outdoor venue is helping turn the OAK Development into the "the vibrant community hub it was designed to be."

What Will OKC Tommy Bahamas Look Like?

Tommy Bahama's Marlin Bar will be the place to go for a slice of "sea-side paradise," if you will. Their menu favorites include the "World-Famous Coconut Shrimp, Blackened Mahi Mahi, and Filet Mignon Tacos" with island-inspired mixed drinks, cocktails, margaritas and more.

Upcoming Tommy Bahama Marina Bar Grand Opening and More

Tommy Bahama's Grand Opening is on Wednesday, October 30. Normal business hours will be from Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with “Island Time” happy hour daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. They'll have live music on select days, including most of the day on weekends.
