United Way of Southwest Oklahoma Seeks Sponsors for Blue Tie Gala
One of the largest fundraisers for the United Way of Southwest Oklahoma and North Texas besides the employee payroll contributions is the fundraising Blue Tie Gala.
COVID-19 caused the United Way to cancel the gala over the last few years, and even to try to make the event virtual, but there is just nothing like an in-person event!
This year, the event will be back bigger and better than ever, and you have an opportunity to help support the United Way with sponsorship dollars.
United Way of Southwest Oklahoma will host its 5thAnnual Blue Tie Gala on Friday, September 9,2022at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lawton, OK.
This year's event is a “Wanderlust” theme and will feature entertainment by the incredible “Royal Dukes Band.”In addition to the entertainment, both silent and live auctions will be held to benefit 23local human service programs in education, income stability, health, and basic needs that are provided through our 19funded partner organizations.
“I am excited for our 5th Annual Campaign Kickoff Event as we can safely meet in person after two years. Last year’s online auction was a huge success, and I am looking forward to another sold-out evening of entertainment and inspiration as we celebrate the beginning of our Annual Fundraising Campaign. The community’s support of this event means so much to our organization, and we plan to make it an evening to remember!”, states President and CEO Lauren Ellis.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available with packages ranging from $500 to $3,000. Individual tickets may be purchased for $75. For more information, visit www.uwswok.org or call 580-355-0218.
