The number one Highlanders would take there undefeated season on the road to take on the tenth ranked Del City Eagles at Kalsu stadium last Friday night. The Highlanders had prepared all week to set their sights on one highly talented division one quarterback in Terry Wilson a three year starter with the Eagles and one who is verbally committed to going to Oregon to play for the Ducks after graduation. But when Big Mac showed up on a rainy trip on the turnpike that wasn't the story.

The big story was the Mac defense who kept Terry and the Del City Eagles from scoring and getting their 9th win of the season with a 37-0 win over the district foe. Now the only thing that will cap off this historic season is another win to finish out the season at 10-0 and making it only the third time in school history the others coming from the 2006 and 2011 seasons.

Big Mac 2015 team has already been crowned City Champions (Back to Back) District champions and are still ranked #1 in the state which they have been all year and are still Defending State Champions. This team has all the confidence and the defense to complete with anyone in the state.

This week the Highlanders will finish up with El Reno Friday at 7:00pm. And not to get too far ahead but the boys from up on the "Hill" already know their first week opponent in the first week of the playoffs which has already been set. Its last years first week opponent in the Carl Albert Titans!

Join us every Tuesday night at El Chico in Central Mall for the Brett Manning Coaches Show. If you have a question for the coaching staff submit it here! If your question is read on the air you will win a MyMac t-shirt!
