If you haven't heard the news yet Evil Dead the Musical is returning to Lawton, Fort Sill by popular demand to the Trail of Fear on select dates throughout the month of October. Evil Dead the Musical takes elements from Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness and mixes them all together for what's been rightfully called one of the funniest, craziest, goriest, and bloodiest musical experiences in the history of musicals!

Hit play on the video below for a sneak peek of 'Evil Dead the Musical.'

I can't wait to see it again and sit front and center in the splatter zone! It's a "must-see" for all Evil Dead fans. Even people who are unfamiliar with the franchise love this musical. How you could be unfamiliar with the single greatest horror franchise in the history of horror films is beyond me. But, if for some reason you haven't seen any of the Evil Dead movies here are the basics of the storyline and what you can expect:

A group of college kids takes a quick weekend trip to a cabin in the woods. While there they accidentally read aloud from the Necronomicon AKA The Book of the Dead. This awakens a dark and ancient evil in the woods and it begins to possess some of them, turning them into Deadites AKA demons. Ashley "Ash" Williams our hero battles the Deadites with his boomstick AKA shotgun and chainsaw to save humanity by vanquishing the evil back to hell. It's wholesome, quality, family entertainment at its finest. Hail to the king baby!

'Evil Dead the Musical' is back at the Trail of Fear celebrating 25 years of terror!
