Five Places To Take A Dip And Cool Off In Lawton [UPDATE]
With the kids out of school and the weather only getting hotter where are you going to take the kids to get over the summer heat?
So far, the Oklahoma heat has been a little bit on the mild side with temperatures in the 80s and 90s, compared to this time last year when we faced anywhere from the upper 90s to 110s. That doesn't mean it's still hot out there, but at least it's bearably hot, for now anyway
Here are FIVE places right here in Lawton where you can swim to cool off this summer.
- 1
Comanche Nation Water Park
Located on 501 NE Lawrie Tatum Road in Lawton.
Whether it's lounging in the lazy river, taking on the wave pool, going down the water slides or having some fun with the little ones in the kids water area you can have lots of fun at the Comanche Nation Water Park.
This year, the water park has opened a new 69 foot speed slide for even more fun with family and friends.
[UPDATE] On June 6th we received a message from a Manager of Comanche Nation Water Park stating that the park will reopen on June 6.
Water Park hours are:
Mondays - Wendesday : 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursdays - Saturdays: 10:30 a.m., to 8 p.m.
Sundays: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
