How Did You Meet Your Best Friend? — Survey of the Day

Sometimes best friends have an interesting story about how they met. Sometimes they don’t.

But, no matter what, to be best friends means you did meet at some point.

So, what are the most likely venues for best friends to have first connected? According to a survey from O2 of more than 2,000 adults, 30 percent met their BFF in grade school or secondary school.

Twenty-seven percent met their bestie at work, 11 percent through mutual friends, 10 percent at college, and one percent met their best friend as a result of a housing arrangement.
