What was going on in the Wichita County Jail kitchen?

Looks like the Criminal Investigations Unit of the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office’s Detention Bureau reserved a tip that an inappropriate relationship was happening at the Wichita County Jail between an inmate and someone who worked in the kitchen. Police began reviewing security camera footage from the kitchen and found some footage of 35-year-old Tylisha Marie Allen.

According to the affidavit, obtained by KFDX, they have footage of Allen kissing an inmate in the dry storage area of the Wichita County Jail. They also became aware of the inmate texting Allen. Investigators tracked Allen by using the number and matching it with her Apple ID plus social media. According to investigators, she would send messages such as,

“I swear he need to hurry up and come home imma change his life,”

 

“Hey bookie wydddddd imma come see you…… you talk to my hubby today.”

She is currently being charged with indecent assault and is currently being held on a $10,000 bond. The wording on indecent assault is very clear when it comes to public servants. "A person the actor knows is a public servant while the public servant is lawfully discharging an official duty, or in retaliation or on account of an exercise of official power or performance of an official duty as a public servant."

Allen was technically an employee of Aramark, who is the employer for the kitchen staff at the Wichita County Jail. We will wait and see as more details come out about the case.
