Experience Driving A Super Car in Oklahoma This Weekend

I'll admit, I know I have a lead foot, like many other drivers here in Oklahoma.

But there's a difference between running 90 in your Mazda versus driving an actual top-grade exotic sports car. Handling one of these kinds of cars is not for the faint of heart.

From Friday, September 12 to Sunday, September 14, all us speed demons and sports car fanatics will have a chance to experience these cars in all of their glory. You can come along for a ride or have the chance to drive one yourself.

What does the driving experience look like?

Oklahoma has at least six major racing facilities throughout the state, including the Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in Jones, Oklahoma. Hallet happens to be the same course holding the extreme racing experiences just outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to the Xtreme Xperience group, the track is "fairly narrow, with numerous sharp turns and major elevation changes, and rewards skillful driving rather than brute power."

Here, they'll have professional super car drivers to either teach you to drive one of their exotics or give you a chance to ride along while they have control over the wheel.

What is a Super Car?

Super cars are not just your typical sports car. According to the Washington Exotics, "supercars take things to the next level with even lower acceleration times and even higher top speeds" than sports cars.

Even more powerful are the Hyper cars, which offer more than "800 horsepower, go from 0 to 60 in under three seconds, and hit top speeds ranging from 215 to 270 miles per hour."
