Limited Shopping Options On Christmas Day In Lawton

Christmas Day this year luckily falls near the end of the week, on Thursday, December 25, 2025. Luckily, last minute shopping is slowly dwindling as studies are showing shoppers care more about quality of gifts rather than deals and bargains they might get just days before Christmas.

But, the choices to do any shopping on Christmas Day are incredibly limited since most businesses will be closed. After all, employees deserve to spend the holidays with their friends and family, too.

Here are the major stores in Lawton that will be closed or have modified hours on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Lawton's major supercenters will be closed Christmas Day in 2025.

Walmart Supercenters both on 67th and Quannah Parker Trailway and Sheridan Road, as well as the Neighborhood Market on Lee Blvd., will close early on Christmas Eve. They have modified their hours for Wednesday, December 24, and will only be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All three locations will be closed for Christmas.

Target on 82nd street will also close early on Christmas Eve at 8 p.m., and they will also be closed on Christmas Day.

Although Aldi's is not considered a supercenter, a lot of shoppers in Lawton have used them for their more affordable grocery options. However, they will not be open on Thursday, December 25. They will be open on Christmas Eve, but will close early at 4 p.m.
