Top-Rated Dips to Take to Your Oklahoma Super Bowl Party
By now your Super Bowl party plans should be pretty much nailed down. You know where you're going, you know who's going to be there, and you should know what you're supposed to bring... You are bringing something, right?
By the time you reach adulthood, the answer is yes. If you go to a party, you bring something. In my 20s, I brought the old trusty standard taco party pack from The Bell... but seeing as inflation has placed a premium on those sad and pathetic tasty tacos, TB has priced themselves out of the mix.
There comes a time when you absolutely must learn how to cook, and dips are the easiest way to please palates on a budget. While some can get a little intimidating in the cook - like having to learn how to smoke foods - there are hundreds of no-cook, buy-and-mix dips out there.
When it comes to Oklahoma's favorite dip, I automatically assumed it would be classic Rotel queso or buffalo chicken something-or-other, but Google is saying we make something called Chocolate Chip Cookie Dip.
Shenanigans.
What is cookie dip and why is Google saying it's Oklahoma's favorite party dip?
I Googled it, it's not for me. Cream cheese, melted butter, two different sugars, a splash of vanilla, and a recommendation to dip fruit into it? Come on...
To each their own, but Super Bowl parties aren't kids' birthday parties. You need a proper dish. Luckily, the internet is a wealth of information when it comes to listing out easy and delicious party dishes. Hit it.
