It's hard to believe next week on Wednesday, September 22nd (09-22-21) it will be the official first day of Fall. We're fast approaching cooler temperatures and the holiday season. It'll be here before you know it. I'm looking forward to getting a reprieve from the heat and all the Fall fun and activities.

Not this Sunday but next Sunday (03-14-21) is daylight savings time. We'll be springing forward an hour and losing another hour of sleep, oh' boy. The older I get the more I hate daylight savings time. It seems like it takes me a few days to re-adjust to the new time and to be completely honest, I hate having to run around the house and change all the clocks. Not to mention trying to remember how to re-set the time in the vehicles.

This has to be one of the strangest pumpkin spice creations ever. Kraft is offering a limited edition pumpkin spice macaroni and cheese just in time for Fall. Last week we heard the news that Kraft was unleashing this festive Fall food in Canada, we thought for a minute that we'd been left out. Luckily for us they decided to do it in the U.S. as well.

The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and the Association of Friends of the Wichitas will be conducting "Fall Foliage Walks” on November 9 and 16.  Interpreters take participants for a one-mile walk through a forested canyon.  Participants will enjoy the chance to view the autumn colors of red, yellow, orange and brown as leaves begin to change with the season.
