The National Weather Service Is Issues Grave Weather Warnings

In holding true Oklahoma traditions, we're going to flip from warm Fall to brutal Winter conditions overnight this weekend. Be sure you're ready.

Now, I'm not a fan of those who rush out and clear the grocery store shelves with the forecast of bad weather, but it probably wouldn't hurt to grab enough food to keep you indoors throughout the weekend. Maybe try to score something to burn in the fireplace, or look for that stockpile of blankets you put up last Spring. This weekend is going to be ridiculously cold.

There are small things than can help. Close your blinds and pull the curtains if you have them. Maybe lay a towel across the exterior door thresholds to cut down on draftiness. If you plan on being out and about, leave the car in the driveway so you don't have to open the garage door, keeping as much heat in there as possible.
