It's an amazing place and one of the most unusual roadside stops you'll ever make. It was originally built back in 1957 and named the Vinita Service Plaza. It quickly earned the nickname 'The Glass House' due to all the windows and how it oversees the highway (I-44) below. Eat your lunch/dinner and watch the traffic below.

For a long time, it contained the world's largest McDonald's at over 20,000 square feet. Sadly, we lost the title to the Russians back in 1990. It may not be the biggest anymore, but it's definitely the best McDonald's in the state and nation. A great place to visit and eat, you won't find another place like this anywhere nearby!

It may have shrunk a little since the remodel back in 2013 as far as the size of the McDonald's, but it made room for Subway, Kum & Go, and the Route 66 gift shop. You'll find everything you need for your road trip from snacks and drinks to souvenirs. Plus you can fill up your vehicle and yourself before you hit the road again. If you're ever in Northeast Oklahoma traveling down I-44, it's certainly worth making a stop for sure!
