
Wichita Falls Teen Faces Felony Charge After Tampering With An Apple

KAUZ News Channel 6 reports that a Rider High School student is charged with a felony after putting part of an alkaline battery in an apple. Wichita Falls Police arrested 17 year-old Kaden Deming on Tuesday. He is charged with tampering with a consumer product, a second degree felony.
While the intended target may have been the unidentified teacher, that apple ended up being partially consumed by another student who discovered a sharp object inside the apple.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Deming had been released from the Wichita County Jail on bond.
