The MacArthur Highlanders found themselves back on the winning track with their second road game in a row taking on the fighting chicks of Chickasha in week 8 of the High School football season. Big Mac scored on their second play of their first possession in just the first 3 minutes of the game with a 24 yard touchdown pass to Jacques Henderson from quarterback Will Collins and a quick 8-0 lead after the two point conversion by Collins.

The Highlanders never looked back and Collins found his other favorite targets on the night completing touchdown passes to Deion James, Lorenzo West and handing the ball off to running back Devon Finkley for scores for the Highlanders and the fact that kicker Jimi Denning added a 27 yard field goal before the half and the Highlanders lead 40-0 at halftime
Quarterback Will Collins was 16-19 for 218 yards and 4 touchdowns and did not play any of the second half. The Highlanders get a big win on the road 54-13.
Big Mac extends their record to 7-1 overall and 4-1 in district and with a Altus overtime win against Ardmore this past Friday that puts all three teams tied for first place in the district for this week.
