Get ready for fun! The City of Lawton and the Lawton Arts and Humanities Council is pleased to present a performance of Seussical on Thursday, February 4th 2016 (02-14-16) at McMahon Memorial Auditorium.

From the official press release: This production by TheatreworksUSA, New York touring company will delight the entire family! “Oh the thinks you can think" when Dr. Seuss's best-loved stories collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper!

Adapted from the Broadway version, this adaptation especially for young audiences features thirteen actors and enhanced production values. Seussical is TheatreworksUSA' biggest show ever!

The Cat in the Hat is the host and emcee (and all-around mischief-maker) in this romp through the Seuss classics. When the sweet, good-natured elephant Horton hears a small cry for help coming from a small speck of dust, he promises to rescue and guard it because "a person's a person, no matter how small."

This production is approximately one-hour in length. While recommended for K-5, it is suitable for the entire family. Children 2-years and younger are admitted FREE! Tickets are on sale now at the McMahon Memorial Auditorium Ticket office.
