Oklahoma Contestant Might Actually Win This Season on Big Brother
Nearly a quarter of a century ago, the survivalist show Big Brother aired live on July 5, 2000 on CBS. This year's contestants were announced and it looks like one of Oklahoma's own is bringing the "live feed camera talk" to the house.
Mr. Quinn Martin, from Lawton, Oklahoma, is on the roster for the 26th season of Big Brother, designed just like any other survival show. All of the contestants live together in the same house, away from "civilization," and compete to stay the longest. The winner walks away with $750,000.
Quinn will be competing with 15 other contestants in a specially made house with a twist this season known as the Big Brother Artifical Intelligence. If you look at the designs of the rooms, you'll see why they're called what they are.
Some people are placing their bets now, unsure of how far Quinn will make it because of his sweeter nature and personality. One Tik Tok user admitted that "I just feel like Quinn is not going to be a really big comp beast."

Other people think that Martin, because of his seemingly sweet side, is actually a force to be reckoned with - at least until the top 10.

This isn't the first time Okies have stormed the survival game. Some like Scout Lee even progress pretty far in the show. In 2004, when she appeared on Survivor: Vanuatu, she survived 15 votes and 38 days until she was eliminated at the final three.
Another successful Oklahoman on Survivor was Chris Hammons, previously a football player and later became a lawyer. After his run, he was known for his passion for the show and competition. In an interview, Chris admitted that he didn't need the money for motivation. "I would play for free," he said. "I don't care about the money. I want the title. I want the adventure and challenge."
It looks like Quinn Martin will have some big shoes to fill in Oklahoma's television history. How do you think he will fare against the rest of the houseguests? How far do you think he'll make it?
Tell us your thoughts on the app and tune in to the premiere tomorrow night.
