Motley Crue Add Heat to El Diablo Burger Commercial
What better way to introduce the new El Diablo burger from Carl's Jr. and Hardee's than with one of Motley Crue's most devilishly famous songs? Well, that and an undeniably hot Victoria's Secret model.
"Shout at the Devil" powers the new commercial for the El Diablo, which is topped with sliced jalapenos, jalapeno poppers and habanero sauce – making it "the hottest burger in fast food," the ad claims. We can't confirm that, but we do know this: That burger is hot enough to melt a castle made of ice when it's eaten by a crazy-fine supermodel. You can watch the clip above,
While everybody else in the frigid locale of the commercial is bundled up, the Portuguese-born Sara Sampaio strips down to a more summer-appropriate outfit – with hamburger in hand, of course.
"Shout at the Devil," which was written by bassist Nikki Sixx, helped Motley Crue's 1983 album of the same name make it to No. 17 on the chart and gave the band its breakthrough. By 1997, when they released an updated version of the song on their Generation Swine album, Shout at the Devil had sold four million copies.
The 23-year-old Sampaio was named the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue's rookie of the year in 2014. She follows similarly titillating Carl's Jr./Hardee's models like Charlotte McKinney (who walked in slow motion through a Super Bowl Sunday spot featuring a Ted Nugent riff), as well as Kate Upton and Paris Hilton.
