The wait is almost over for the new Taco Bell in Lawton, Fort Sill. If you've been near the intersection of 38th Street and Lee Boulevard lately you've probably seen all the construction going on. It's really starting to take shape now and will be open soon! We've been hearing rumors for months about the new Taco Bell location.

No official word yet as to when the grand opening will take place but from the looks of it, it won't be long now. We could be seeing it open by fall or winter of this year, maybe even sooner.*Fingers crossed that it's sooner*

Being right across the street from the Walmart Neighborhood Market and so close to Cameron University, the Great Plains Technology Center, and Eisenhower High School the new Taco Bell is sure to bring in TONS of business that's for sure! That area of town doesn't have a lot of places to eat so it'll be a very popular place!

Having more options and places to eat out in Lawton, Fort Sill is a good thing, not to mention all the job opportunities this will bring to the community. It's a win-win for sure! Taco Bell will be the first new business to build on the empty lot at the corner of 38th St. and Lee Blvd. As big as it is I'm sure more and more businesses will start filling it in as time goes by. They certainly have the space for it and there's no telling what other businesses are considering building there once Taco Bell opens.

It's like anything else, someone has to go first then everyone else follows. It's exciting to see the land being developed and the potential for more businesses to move and open in Lawton, Fort Sill.
