If you're currently using someone else's password you can expect to be disconnected and blocked until you create your own account, or are officially added as a secondary subscriber to the account you're using.
Oklahoma ranks 3rd in the Nation for Netflix password sharing so the streaming platform will be focusing heavily on the Sooner State according to recent reports. Click here for the details and to review the report.
The days of free access are coming to an end. So exactly how will Netflix enforce its password and account-sharing rules? They plan to track and limit access by devices that are not within the household or its WiFi.

Basically, you'll log onto Netflix using all the devices you watch the platform on your home WiFi, they suggest you do this at least once every 31 days. This is to verify both the network and the devices most used.
I know what you're thinking, what about when I'm outside the home or using a different WiFi network to watch Netflix? The service will prompt you to enter a verification code sent to either your email or phone via text.
If someone is accessing your Netflix account outside the home or not using a verified device it will block them. If traveling and using unfamiliar devices and WiFi networks you can request temporary access.
There are also options to add additional users to an account who are not in the household and will cost less than a standard subscription. Visit the official Netflix website and FAQ for all the details by clicking here.
