This is one of the most bizarre stories we have came across in a long time! A Seattle based attorney is making the outrageous claim that when he was a young boy he traveled through time on a government dime! But that’s not even the weirdest part of the story yet!

Andrew Basiago claims that during the time he was 7 to 12 years of age he was a time traveler.  He claims he participated in “Project Pegasus,” a teleportation and time travel project led by a secret United States government program.

"They trained children along with adults so they could test the mental and physical effects of time travel on kids," Basiago told The Huffington Post. "Also, children had an advantage over adults in terms of adapting to the strains of moving between past, present and future."

As with anyone Basiago tells his story to, people are skeptical and ask for proof.  The proof he provides is a photograph of Abraham Lincoln from 1863, in which he can supposedly be seen! He continues to claim he actually teleported to Gettysburg in 1972 via the time traveling machine.

And what is this machine exactly? "The machine consisted of two gray elliptical booms about eight feet tall, separated by about 10 feet, between which a shimmering curtain of what Tesla called 'radiant energy' was broadcast," Basiago said. "Radiant energy is a form of energy that Tesla discovered that is latent and pervasive in the universe and has among its properties the capacity to bend time-space."

Alfred Webre, an attorney, supports Basiago’s claims and believes time travel is possible. He states that time travel has been around for 40 years, but the US government has been using it to transfer goods and services faraway distances!

On the other hand, Hong Kong physicist Shengwang Du insists in his paper saying that time travel is in fact, impossible – nothing moves faster than the speed of light.

If you could go anywhere in time, where would you go and what would you do?
