Road Rage Incidents in Oklahoma That Will Make Go The Long Way Around

Well, with the new news of Oklahoma's latest ranking of one of the worst states for road rage, I think it's time we see the stats in real life.

Some of these might make you chuckle from how ridiculous things are at the time when they were driving, but unfortunately there are a few that had deadly outcomes that never should've happened.

This video went viral a few years ago with a driver in Moore, Oklahoma giving us a perfect display of a few things: how fast emotions change and just how crazy people can be.

When the windows are down, the words are thrown around. This is one incident that cracked me up when watching it and I wasn't the only one. The comments are just pure gold. You can check the video and the comments here.

Thankfully, no one was hurt, but it looks like we're living up to the stat that claims Oklahomans are worst about blocking someone from merging.

3. Laser Pointer Trucker

Last year, on I40, a trucker in a semi apparently wasn't getting the vehicle in front of him to move quick enough. So, he took things a step way too far by pointing a laser inside of the vehicle, caught on camera.

Listening to the interview with one of the people in the car the laser was being pointed at, I don't know how they weren't more freaked out by the incident.

Apparently, the semi driver was reprimanded with a "stern" 3 days suspension and a mandatory safety course that the company takes "very seriously." I'm sensing a bit of... lack of accountability?

4. Truck Tries To Take Over Semi

It's amazing how many people have "the audacity." To think that you have the right to: pass on the shoulder, stop traffic completely, use your vehicle to stop a semi truck and to lay your hands on another person - that takes a lot of "gumption," as well call it.

Just remember, folks, you don't know who you're messing with on the road. Your first attempt to "show them a thing or two" could be your last.

5. Oklahoma City Driver Shooting

This case should've never happened. A case of road rage ended the life of a 19-year-old girl and ended this man's career. In almost every case of road rage, people usually calm down and realize that their reaction was over the top. Usually, they can fix their wrong - but this case will never be able to be justified or fixed.

A message for drivers out there: don't make permanent solutions for temporary problems. Let that driver in, take some breathing classes and just get to where you're going.
