Oklahoma doesn't seem to make it on the map for a lot of things, but we've recently garnered some national attention because of a very unique experience. One of the most unique immersive art experiences in Oklahoma is currently one of the nominees for the best in the country, according to USA Today.

There are other experiences in Oklahoma also currently in the running for the best in the country, including the Best History Museum in America.

Factory Obscura is currently nominated #4 out of 20 best immersive art experiences.

People will go lengths to travel to new and exciting places, something that we don't honestly have a lot of in Oklahoma. But, the Factory Obscura Immersive Art Experience in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, seems to be drawing visitors in.

This art collective in Oklahoma City crafts immersive experiences that "awaken wonder, build community, and make the world better," according to the Obscura description. This place is 6,000 square feet of imagination taken to an entirely new level.

But Factory Obscura isn't the only noteworthy place currently being nominated for USA Today's 10 Best list.

Oklahoma's First Americans Museum also nominated for one of the best in the country.

Oklahoma might be lacking in nightlife, but we are rich with history. So many tribes, people, and cultures have called this place home. In our own way, we never forget our roots - that's why museums have a special place here.

The First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City celebrates the histories of the 39 tribal nations that "places Native voices at the center of its storytelling." This museum is also immersive, and has an indigenous-led design that you can only get from the people who live here.
