It's the great steak debate. What is the best type or cut of steak? I'm sure you have a favorite, that one steak that you prefer above all others. Tonight Kelso and I will hit the grill and kick the weekend off right with some perfectly seasoned, grilled, juicy and ever so delicious ribeyes. Let us praise and braise the flesh...I can taste them now!

Everyone has a favorite when it comes to how they like their steak cooked or grilled. Rare, medium rare, medium, medium well and the unfortunate and tasteless well done. But what about the steak itself, do you have a preference? There are as many different types or cuts of steak as there are ways to cook and grill them. Personally I'm a big ribeye fan, for me it's one of the very best cuts. All that marbling and fat. That's what gives it that incredible flavor.

While the ribeye is at the top of the list for me, especially if I'm buying I do enjoy other cuts as well. The t-bone, strip and chuckeye among them. I was first introduced to the humble chuckeye by Kelso. It's a lot like a ribeye, just smaller. Imaging a ribeye and filet mixed together and that's pretty close to what the chuckeye looks and tastes like. It's a great cut of meat and grills like a dream. If you haven't tried one yet you should definitely check out.

I've grilled just about every type or cut of steak and like to mix it up from time to time. However I always return to the ribeye, it's the absolute best in my opinion. So how about you, what's your favorite? Take the poll below and let us know your thoughts. Lets find out what's the most popular steak in Lawton.
